About this piece:
Forest fairies or elves are living in the branches this tree with large blue flowers that release magic pollen in to the air. I think it might have a TARDIS style ‘bigger on the inside’ thing going on, but I’m putting that down to elf magic. Maybe you can think of more to add to the story behind this piece. Where do you think that bridge goes?
My parents build a toy tree house with platforms like this one for me and my sister when we were little, and I was thinking of it when I painted this. It’s really fun to think of clever gadgets the elves might have in their house.
